This happened to me last week….
Person I just met at a function: I notice you don't eat anything. Are you on a diet? You don't look as though you need to be.
Me (trying to think of a short version of what can be a long explanation): I have a certain medical condition that means I can't eat them. I won't bore you with the details here.
Other person: So you can't eat these canapés?
Me: No.

So how is it going with those resolutions to get...
It is very easy to give up all those good intentions when we can’t seem to get it right. I myself have had a cold and and a series of sick days from multi-chemical sensitivity  triggered by perfumes and other smells. My immune system has been on overload and at times I have wondered if I would be able to eat anything during a day or ever exercise again. It is so easy to become discouraged...

wtfai asked: I seen your post about bread, and I wondered, have you tried any bread recipes w/o yeast? There's a number of macrobiotic bread recipes w/o yeast out there - I've tried a few; they aren't as light and fluffy as breads made with yeast, but they can still be tasty. :)

No more daily bread...
…the smell of fresh bread now makes me sneeze and start to wheeze! Bread was one of my favourite things to eat. It must be said that my stomach used to bloat and I would get a sore mouth, mouth ulcers, or feel sick, or my joints would swell. I never really attributed this to the eating of bread, of course, but that was because I was eating so many other things that were also causing me to...
